Metis 4.0 is a startup company founded in 2022, building on 40 years of experience in the interior design and manufacturing sector. Its founding members are Andreas Kyranis, Antonis Kalis and Vassilis Xydias.
Andreas Kyranis, a co founder and co manager of «NEON KATOIKEIN», was among the first to implement fully automated systems for the production of customized industrial furniture in Greece. He has served as a BoD member and manager in multiple manufacturing companies and has vast experience in the design, planning and manufacturing of furniture systems, using cutting edge technologies.
Antonis Kalis, PhD, is an experienced project manager, awarded with the 2000 Chester Sall Memorial award of the Consumer Electronics Society. He has served as the technical director of large EU projects, also awarded with the prestigious Lloyd’s List Global Innovation Award in 2014.
Vassilis Xidias is a management engineer and development consultant. He has been working as a consultant in EU funding and project management, he has served as the General Director of Western Greece’s Development Agency, as the Managing Director of ODYSSEY TV NETWORK and as a consultant of the Hellenic ICOMOS, responsible for international cooperation projects.
